Join me for an informative event for headache practitioners! I am excited to be included as a speaker once again. I will be discussing the topic of the gut-brain axis and how diet can impact migraines.
The Headache Cooperative of the Pacific (HCOP) Board of Directors and Program Committee invite you to join them for the 14th Annual HCOP Winter Conference being held virtually January 29 & 30, 2021. In response to the unprecedented impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the global economy, public health, and the HCOP community, they have created an innovative and interactive virtual experience for their participants. The HCOP Winter Conference brings together the West Coast's leading headache experts. This two-day, educational and informative event, will provide you with the necessary tools and best practices to better diagnose and treat headache patients.
The 14th Annual HCOP Winter Conference boasts a truly impressive lineup and includes distinguished thought-leaders such as their keynote speaker, Marcelo Bigal, MD, PhD of Ventus Therapeutics. Additionally, they will have 7 pre-recorded panel sessions and 6 pre-recorded didactic sessions that can be viewed at your leisure before the start of the conference. Attendees will be given the opportunity to submit questions to the panels and didactic session speakers that will be answered during a Q&A session during the main conference. Some of the faculty participating in their panel discussions include Peter J. Goadsby, MD, PhD, FAHS, current president of the American Headache Society (AHS), Kathleen B. This is the 6th annual migraine event for the Association of Migraine Disorders (AMD). This is an organization that focuses on the various medical specialties that are touched by migraine disease. AMD uses this one-day event to explore the boundaries of what we know of migraine disease, allow contact between the various communities involved in migraine and to spread the word about this area of neuroscience.
